Jermall Keels
Operations Associate
Jermall Keels handles compliance work across Protect Democracy. These responsibilities include helping project teams navigate non-profit regulations, political activity restrictions, lobbying reporting requirements, and conflict of interest guidance. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where he focused his studies on threats to American democracy and national security. He also represented survivors of domestic violence in DC Superior Court as part of a clinical experience. Prior to joining Protect Democracy, Jermall clerked for a judge at Montgomery County Circuit Court and performed freelance writing & editing services.
