Responses to Protect Democracy FOIA Suit Over Legal Rationale for Syria Strikes

After the April 6, 2017 military strikes against the Syrian regime by the Trump Administration, Protect Democracy filed FOIA requests to the Departments of Defense, State and Justice, for all discussions around the legal rationale for these strikes, given that the Administration had refused to release any. When the Administration was unresponsive, Protect Democracy went to court, where the Trump Administration was ordered to respond to our requests. These are the documents the Administration turned over, we will continue to post updates on any new developments.
