Janine Lopez’s work focuses on protecting free and fair elections. Prior to joining Protect Democracy, Janine worked at the ACLU of Florida, where she primarily focused on defending immigrants’ rights, and Arnold & Porter LLP, where she represented commercial and pro bono clients at the trial and appellate levels. Janine previously clerked on the U.S. Supreme Court for the Honorable Stephen G. Breyer and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit for the Honorable Merrick B. Garland. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Brown University.
