Beau Tremitiere

Counsel

Beau Tremitiere develops and leads advocacy projects targeting political extremism and authoritarianism, including litigation challenging the constitutionality of state laws prohibiting fusion voting. Prior to joining Protect Democracy, Beau served as a policy aide to United States Senator Joe Manchin III and as a litigation associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Margaret M. McKeown of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable John A. Kronstadt of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Beau received his A.B. from Harvard University and J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
