Alison Hirsh

Chief Impact Officer

Alison Hirsh is a senior leader with over two decades of experience in government, advocacy, and labor. After serving as political director and vice president of 32BJ SEIU for 12 years, she served as senior advisor under Mayor Bill de Blasio and in the NYC Department of Education. She then went on to serve as senior advisor on Maya Wiley’s 2021 campaign for NYC Mayor. In 2022, she became chief strategy officer and assistant comptroller for pensions under Comptroller Brad Lander, leading pension oversight, ESG, labor policy, and strategic planning for the Comptroller’s office. In late 2024, she left government service to manage Brad Lander’s mayoral campaign, executing the first of its kind successful cross-endorsement under NYC’s ranked choice voting structure. Alison lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two children, and her dog, Toby.
