Elias Boujaoude
Counsel, Litigation Operations & Partnerships
Elias Boujaoude is counsel, litigation operations & partnerships at Protect Democracy, where he helps strengthen the organization’s litigation infrastructure and coordinates pro bono partnerships to advance the mission. He brings broad experience across all stages of civil litigation from his years as a trial attorney in the Justice Department’s Civil Fraud Section, where he led False Claims Act investigations and other enforcement matters involving misuse of public funds. Elias also served as law clerk for Judge Tanya Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and Judge Elaine Kaplan of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He began his career as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Elias holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law, an M.Sc. in Public Policy from University College London, and a B.A. from Columbia University.
