Jules Torti is counsel at Protect Democracy, where she works to help maintain our government’s system of separation of powers by challenging executive overreach. Jules focuses on litigation to protect and defend the federal civil service and the critical programs and services it provides. She most recently served in a senior leadership role at a United States Attorney’s Office. Jules has expertise in complex civil litigation and affirmative civil rights litigation as both a government and private attorney. She clerked for judges on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Jules received her J.D. from N.Y.U. School of Law and an A.B. from Duke University.
