Jules Torti

Jules Torti is a Counsel at Protect Democracy, focusing on strengthening democratic guardrails and institutions and securing accountability for abuses of power. Jules most recently served in a senior leadership role at a United States Attorney’s Office, where she participated in and oversaw complex civil litigation. She has particular expertise in civil rights investigations and litigation as both a government and plaintiff’s attorney. Jules clerked for judges on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She received her J.D. from N.Y.U. School of Law and an A.B. from Duke University.
