Katie Schwartzmann

Katie Schwartzmann serves as a counsel at Protect Democracy, working primarily on matters seeking to preserve free expression and protect dissent. Previously, Katie was the director of the First Amendment Law Clinic at Tulane Law School and legal director of the ACLU of Louisiana. She also is a former director of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Louisiana office. Katie received her J.D. from Tulane Law School.
