Megumi Saito

Megumi Saito is a state policy advocate leading Protect Democracy’s efforts to ensure free, fair, and safe elections in the state of Wisconsin. Prior to joining the team, Megumi was a public defender for the Legal Aid Society of NYC for 11 years representing clients in high stakes criminal litigation and later serving as a member of a small specialty unit focused on enforcing local human rights laws in the employment context. Megumi holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from the City College of New York.
