Michael Angeloni is a research specialist at Protect Democracy, where his work focuses on the intersection of global democratic backsliding and national security. He previously worked with the transatlantic security team at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Angeloni holds an M.A. in Government from Georgetown University, where his research explored the political dynamics of authoritarian regimes. He received his B.A. in Politics and International Affairs from Wake Forest University.
