Michael Angeloni is a Research Associate at Protect Democracy, where he supports the organization’s work to constrain executive overreach that undermines the rule of law. Prior to joining Protect Democracy, he interned with the Transatlantic Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) and the International Republican Institute (IRI). Angeloni holds a B.A. in Politics and International Affairs from Wake Forest University and an M.A. in Government from Georgetown University, with a research focus on contemporary authoritarian regimes and their threats to national security.
