Shelby Teeter

Shelby Teeter is counsel on the Free and Fair Elections team at Protect Democracy. She brings robust complex civil litigation experience, including litigating challenges under the First and Fourteenth Amendments. Before joining Protect Democracy, Shelby served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eumi K. Lee of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and worked as a litigation associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Shelby holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was a Coker Fellow and an Executive Editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation.
