Mojgone Azemun

Mojgone Azemun oversees legal compliance and governance matters for Protect Democracy. For nearly a decade, she led the legal team of a global civic movement specialized in high-profile advocacy campaigns, reporting, and grantmaking. She also has an extensive background in grassroots training, facilitation, and community building. Mojgone previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
