Zachary West serves as counsel, national security at Protect Democracy, working to promote healthy civil-military relations and mobilize national security leaders to defend U.S. democracy. He previously worked in the Justice Department’s National Security Division and began his career in the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He received his J.D. and B.A. from Syracuse University.
