Building a democracy that works better for young people takes collective effort that goes beyond casting ballots on Election Day. Everyone can play a part in safeguarding our election processes, expanding voter access and turnout, and ensuring basic civil rights and freedoms are honored.

Election protection hotlines and rapid response assistance
For support on or before Election Day, contact the Lawyers’ Committee’s Election Protection Hotline. If you need more robust rapid response assistance, we recommend connecting with the following service providers who may be able to help you:
- Democracy Security Project (DSP): DSP provides training and physical safety, cybersecurity / privacy, event and protest protocols, and emotional well-being services.Â
- Vision Change Win: Vision Change Win provides urgent and emergent incident response support around personal/home safety, organizational safety, action and event safety, digital security, and internal / external incidents or threats. Vision Change Win can help troubleshoot digital, organizational, electoral, protest, event, fiscal, hate-based, and/or state violence.
