Protect Democracy Sends Letter Opposing Florida H.B. 7 / S.B. 148 as Unconstitutional

On February 22, 2022, Protect Democracy sent a letter to the sponsors of H.B. 7 / S.B. 148 in the Florida House and Senate opposing the bill as unconstitutional. The bill amounts to state censorship and would prohibit private employers and teachers in public schools, colleges, and universities from advancing certain ideas relating to race and sex because of hostility to those ideas.
