Sonya Petri

As legal operations strategist, Sonya is responsible for designing and implementing effective and efficient legal systems and processes in service of mission. In this role, Sonya focuses on optimizing the organization’s deployment of staff, processes, and technology toward maximal mission impact, leveraging both data and experience to support organizational decision-making and internal strategy. With a background in criminal defense and justice policy, Sonya has been a trial paralegal with the Federal Public Defender Office in Boston and a contributing researcher with the Harvard Kennedy School. Sonya holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.A. from Boston College.
