Carrick Moon
Major Gifts Officer

Carrick Moon is a major gifts officer on Protect Democracy’s partnerships team, where he works to ensure that our organization has the requisite resources to fulfill our mission. He is a graduate of Indiana University, where he co-founded the university’s Queer Student Union, researched pedagogical theory as a Kovener Fellow, and was awarded the Mueller Senior Award for campus leadership. Born and raised in the bluegrass state of Kentucky, Carrick is especially passionate about rural agency, and he is happy to field any questions about Kentucky basketball or horse racing (with the disclaimer that he has only bet correctly on the Kentucky Derby twice.)
