Lara Hicks
Impact Specialist
Lara Hicks works to equip pro-democracy civil society actors with the resources they need to remain resilient in the face of autocratic attacks. She also supports Protect Democracy’s constituency engagement projects with a focus on youth and Gen Z. Before joining Protect Democracy, Lara served as an Executive Assistant and Assistant United Nations Representative for a human rights NGO in New York City. She has a Master’s in Public Administration and a B.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University.
