Alexis Nwatu supports Protect Democracy’s mission to safeguard democracy from the rising threat of authoritarianism through litigation and advocacy efforts. Before joining Protect Democracy, she gained valuable experience as a litigation paralegal at a full-service law firm, focusing on commercial litigation. Alexis graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Politics from New York University, where she also minored in Social & Cultural Analysis and Social and Public Policy.
