Alexis Nwatu

Paralegal/Impact Associate

Alexis Nwatu supports Protect Democracy’s mission by contributing to both litigation efforts and initiatives to engage new constituencies in the pro-democracy movement. Her work spans legal support, coalition-building, advocacy, and outreach. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in Politics and minors in Social & Cultural Analysis and Social & Public Policy, where she also served on the executive boards of several student organizations focused on civic engagement and public affairs. Prior to joining Protect Democracy, she was a litigation paralegal at a full-service law firm, supporting attorneys in civil litigation.
