Sohini Desai advocates for democracy-building reforms at the state and federal level, including state-level efforts to protect the right to vote for historically disenfranchised communities and nationally focused structural efforts to create a more representative and responsive democracy. Previously, Sohini worked as an analyst at a private litigation firm. As an undergraduate, Sohini worked in student government to provide free and confidential counsel to students with university-related grievances and to design campus-wide policy initiatives that addressed pervasive grievances.
