Jane Petersen Bentrott is counsel at Protect Democracy whose work includes litigation to protect our government’s system of separation of powers, challenge executive overreach, and combat disinformation that undermines our democracy. She has significant experience litigating complex and class actions in federal courts nationwide. Before joining Protect Democracy, Jane was counsel at Justice Action Center where she led cases to vindicate the rights of immigrants and their communities, and previously worked as a litigation associate at the law firm Morrison & Foerster LLC. Jane received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
